Subscription Types

Individual Subscription:

• Our parenting newsletters are designed to serve as an information service to you as you prepare publications, letters, email, a website and memos for parents. Your individual subscription gives you the right to reproduce up to four (4) articles of your choice from each issue of each newsletter you receive for use in your own school publications. You may not copy the entire newsletter with this subscription. The four articles you select, including accompanying artwork, may be reproduced and distributed both in print and electronically. Give credit with a statement such as: "Reprinted with permission from The Parent Institute."

Bulk Subscription:

• A Bulk subscription to Parents make the difference!^® or Parents Still make the difference!^® is designed to provide you an economical way to distribute copies of the newsletter to parents, teachers, aides and others who work directly with children. The bulk printed copies you have purchased will always be delivered by mail or UPS. Those bulk copies are intended to be of direct benefit to the recipient and include no reproduction rights of any kind.
• Only YOU as the main subscriber have the license to use up to four articles (total) from the print or electronic versions of the newsletter(s) each month in your own print and electronic publications.
• Only YOU as the main subscriber may access the newsletter(s) online through the Internet and download as many as four articles from each issue.   Those to whom you distribute your additional Bulk copies of the newsletter(s) do not have the right to use any material from the newsletter(s) either from the print or electronic forms of the newsletter(s).

Ready-to-Reproduce Subscription:

• Ready-to-Reproduce subscriptions to Parents make the difference!^® and/or Parents Still make the difference!^® are available for a single school, for a small, medium or large school district and for regional education service agencies. Legally you must purchase the ready-to-reproduce subscription for which you qualify. You may distribute both print and electronic copies of the newsletters you download, but only within the jurisdiction of your school or agency.
• Your subscription allows you to reproduce all or just the parts you select of the entire newsletter.
• You may not remove the copyright message from any page.
• You may use articles from each issue, including accompanying drawings, in your own newsletters, or other publications. When using individual articles, please give credit with the statement: "Reprinted with permission from The Parent Institute."
• You may remove selected newsletter stories and substitute articles you have written locally. The substituted items must be clearly identifiable as local stories—a school calendar, message from the principal, etc. If you include locally developed parent tips similar to those included in our newsletters, they must be clearly labeled, such as, "From Florence Johnson, third-grade teacher, Westlake Elementary."
• Copyrighted materials from other sources may not be substituted in Parents make the difference!^® and/or Parents Still make the difference!^®.
• You may reproduce the registered logos only when copying the entire newsletter or its individual pages. You may not alter or use the logo in any other way.
